Moreover, it's the best-reviewed movie of the year currently. It's not a long movie with a runtime of just 57-minute, but it's being hailed as the first great film of the pandemic. The idea, that was conceived in the lockdown, all came from a Whatsapp message when one of the writers sent a message just saying ‘Zoom seance’ to the other writer. Obviously, the medium ends up losing her internet connection early on and things get interesting. Basically, the movie shows a group of six friends who get together on a video conference call and call up spirits with the help of a medium. Host, a found footage' horror movie that takes place on entirely the only way of socializing we have left - a zoom call. And, looks like that's how we got a new truly terrifying horror movie.
Most of us have just been trying to survive the new working conditions during this pandemic, picking up new hobbies in the extra free time, or just trying to relax coming to terms with this new reality.īut, a lot of people have had the time to think outside of the box and get really creative.
